ABOUT US | VAYNU OSURI

Vaynu Osuri brings over a quarter-century of experience in systems engineering, telecommunications, and software development. He has played a role in enhancing Air Traffic operations and boosting efficiency both in Enroute and Terminal areas. He has been instrumental in rolling out and disseminating operational strategies and policies for advanced systems such as DataComm, ADS-B, ERAM, and SWIM.

Vaynu has provided expertise and oversight in creating dashboards powered by machine learning and data modeling that have significantly improved decision-making and planning processes for the customer base he has served. His leadership in marshaling teams of data scientists and software developers has produced cutting-edge software solutions that deliver considerable business value.

Before establishing MicroTheory Engineering, Vaynu’s career spanned various leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer at Azul Engineering, Vice President of Engineering at BPA Services, Program Manager at CSSI, and managerial roles within ITT Corporation’s Advanced Engineering & Sciences Division.

Vaynu’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University, a Post Graduate Degree in Applied Data Science from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Spicer Memorial College (India). He is also Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
Vaynu’s contributions have been recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with the FAA Airway Facilities Headquarters Honorary Award for Excellence and an FAA Certificate of Appreciation.
